hether it’s leading a workout, running a 10k race, delivering a motivational speech or something else, I’ve been busy since becoming the $100,000 at-home prize winner on the live finale show of Season 8 of “The Biggest Loser.” And there is much more to come. Take a peek at my calendar (below) if you want to know where I’ll be next. I might be in your state! If you’d like to see some photos and videos from some of my past experiences and appearances, check out my See Me page!...
"50 in 50 by 30 Challenge"
What the heck is the 50 in 50 by 30 Challenge? Well, here's the scoop. After I won the $100,000 at-home prize, I did an interview with Jay Leno. He asked me, "What's next?" I half-jokingly told him, "Maybe I'll run a race in every state." Notice I said half-jokingly.
I soon realized after coming home from “The Biggest Loser” that I needed a long-term goal to help keep me motivated, as well as a way to encourage others to get healthy! That’s when I remembered that conversation with Jay Leno and decided there's no time like the present. And, just to make it a little more interesting, I decided I'd run those 50 races in 50 states by the time I'm 30 years old, March 15, 2014. That's the rest of the story ...
Update: Only TWO more races for 2012, but the remaining states are already planned through 2013 and the first three months of 2014, finishing on the day I turn the BIG 3-0!! Now Daniel and I are busy getting ready for our wedding and it's back to work with our FitnessWrightNow clients. By the end of this year, I'll have 31 states completed, so the next 15 months should be a little less hectic, which is good, because Daniel and I (fiance, soon-to-be husband) are busy building our personal training business, planning a wedding and so much more! Stay tuned ...

The 2011 racing season ended with the completion of my third half marathon in two months in St. Petersburg, Fla. and the 5k in Atlanta. I took December off, kind of. Daniel and I (fiancé as of November 7!!) went to The Biggest Loser Resort at Fitness Ridge, Utah, for a week (December 11-18). We are now Ambassadors for the BL Resorts and after our week there, we highly recommend it to anyone wanting to get back on track or jump start their health and fitness journey.
